Here is an overview of everything you need to know about equipment.

Types of Icon Equipment

Item icons reworked to indicate refinement potential and item type:

  • Standard: No special icon.
  • Unique: Star icon.
  • Set: Cards icon.

Equipment Attributes

Items feature attack (ATK), defense (DEF), or agility (AGI) as primary or secondary attributes to better support different hero builds and stat requirements. Many existing pieces of gear have also had their attributes reworked for a clearer and more balanced gearing experience.

Uniques & Sets

Target Farming & Drops

Set and unique items always drop at Rare or higher. Each dungeon has designated unique weapons and set items, which you can view in the dungeon interface preview before entering. This allows you to target-farm your equipment by completing specific dungeons.

Perks

Unique and set items have perks with up to four perk slots. Lower-rarity items start with fewer perk slots but can gain additional slots through refinement. The first perk slot is always the weakest and will be replaced by the unique or set perk if applicable.

Uniques

Here is a first look at how Uniques will allow you for more strategic hero builds.

Uniques – Exclusive Weapon Perks

Uniques are items that are exclusive to weapons of Rare rarity or higher. They are identified by a special unique icon in the top left corner of the item image.

Each unique weapon comes with a powerful perk which scales based on the weapon’s rarity.

  • Example of a Unique‘s perk: Primary ability (first skill) has a 25% chance to Freeze the target for 1 turn.

Sets

Here is a first look at how Sets will allow you for more strategic character builds.

Sets – Exclusive Armor Set Perks

Sets apply only to armor and do not affect weapons. They grant powerful set perks, such as increased critical chance, damage, defense, and more, when multiple pieces from the same set are equipped. These set perks are available on armor and jewelry of Rare rarity or higher.

They are identified by a special cards icon in the top left corner of the item image.

4-piece sets provide perks at different thresholds: when you equip 2, 3, or all 4 pieces. In contrast, 2-piece sets only grant their perk when both pieces are equipped, not when just one piece is worn.

Each set also has a specific name that applies to all its pieces.

  • Example: Pumpkin Set = „Pumpkin Chestplate“ + „Pumpkin Helmet“.
2-Piece & 4-Piece Sets

Sets come in either 2-piece or 4-piece combinations, allowing you to equip two different sets on a single hero (2 pieces + 2 pieces).

  • 2-piece sets always consist of two specific equipment pieces, such as a helmet and chestplate or a ring and amulet. Armor and jewelry do not exist together in a 2-piece set.
  • 4-piece sets, however, can include any combination of equipment, such as a ring, amulet, helmet, and chestplate.
