In the barracks soldiers are trained you can attack other players with to raid wood and stone. The higher the upgrade level of the barracks, the more soldiers can be stationed there.

Alternatively, you can train soldiers by tapping the bottom-left soldier icon and set the number of soldiers to be trained.
